That "sheepdog" sh...enanigans irks me. Yeah, the sheepdog does protect the sheep from external threats, but only so they can be exploited, after which they are slaughtered. And if the sheepdog fails to perform it will meet the same fate.

I confess that I do wear 5.11 pants regularly. However, I live in California and I believe they just made it illegal to be tacticool Big Grin

That actually doesn't seem like a bad idea, if you actually look at and see or note things and don't just go through the head motions. You can develop "tunnel vision" under stress and miss other attackers outside your field of vision. Could a trainer weigh in on this?

I'm in trouble I guess....

I wear 5.11 boots a lot but they are the most comfortable thing next to bare feet after 47 years of pounding my feet on concrete in car dealerships.

My range bag says "Glock", it was a karma from about 2005 or so from a member in OKC

I only have one item of NRA clothing, a sweatshirt I got at an event.

No gun stickers, punisher skull tire cover or gun plate on the Jeep

Where does this leave me at?

The "furniture" thing probably comes from ARs.

I've never heard someone ask what sort of furniture they've got on an M14, or Mini-14, or bolt gun...ya know, traditionally-stocked firearms, where it's one piece.

However, "what stock, pistol grip, and foregrip do you have" is quite a bit more of a mouthful than "what furniture." Right?

#TBD6 - I don't subscribe to the fantasy that I'll use my knife to fight to my pistol and then my pistol to fight to my rifle.

#TBD7 - None of my guns accuracy are defined by terms like "scary, deadly, or crazy".

#TBD8 - I don't think it's easier to stash guns all over the house in an attempt to not keep one on my person in said house.

Actually, I think "furniture" probably was derived from wooden stocks--most furniture is made of wood.
