If governments were really concerned about road safety they would crack down on distracted drivers. Someone going 5 mph over the speed limit isn’t a threat to public safety. I’ve been ran off the road three times in the last two years by people looking down at their phones. Speed limiting vehicles is just another way to condition people to being controlled. ——————————————— The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Psalm 14:1

Restricting drivers didn't work (See the National Maximum Speed Law, 1974); let's try restricting vehicles. You WILL NOT go over ze speed limit! Big Brother mentality indeed.

The law is junk. There are no cars manufactured in the State of New York. Chebby engines @ Tonawanda and Cummins diesel engines in the south west. That effed up state couldn't attract new business if they begged someone to come there.

^^^ Article says manufactured OR registered. That means any vehicle essentially. This isn’t about safety, it’s about revenue in a leftist turdhole. “Remember to get vaccinated or a vaccinated person might get sick from a virus they got vaccinated against because you’re not vaccinated.” - author unknown

My Garmin GPS shows my speed with a red background when I go over the posted speed limit. I wish it had the option of verbally telling me at least once or possibly just a custom tone to keep reminding me... heck it could even be programed to let me punch in how far over the limit I'm going before warning me.... don't know why the over ejumincated computer programing geeks can't do this. There's a whole sub-culture of aftermarket carshops and u-toobers that will be put out of work or start modding Teslas for a living. Hedley Lamarr: Wait, wait, wait. I'm unarmed. Bart: Alright, we'll settle this like men, with our fists. Hedley Lamarr: Sorry, I just remembered . . . I am armed.

I remember out-of-state Florida drivers in huge-ass Caddy's or Buicks driving so slowly you'd need to break or rear-end them. You couldn't see the persons head, only the hands on the steering wheel, no front license plates, usually white or pastel colored. Fast forward a good 30 - 40 years, and its flipped 100%. NY'ers won't be able to speed. & Florida drivers ignore limits, treat them as the minimums. Try to go 55 - 65MPH on I-95 or the Turnpike, you're standing still (& be ready for serious road rage). NY'ers used to be the ones w/ authority issues, now all the Lib's spend their lives adding regulations (and regulators). If it weren't so dangerous, it might be funny. Just out of curiosity, you can pretty much hack into a cars chip today and control speed, even flip the accelerator and the brake if you wanted. The technology exists - wonder why they are "testing" the concept? Maybe to see (read: confirm) how unsafe it is??

So what we have to do is figure out a way to permanently position a picture of 75MPH traffic sign in front of the camera.
