It's not clear where Farrakhan wants this mysterious black-only nation to be, but in a way, I'm all for it. A separate state means a separate country, which means trade agreements, monetary policies and exchange rates and all the appurtenances that accompany a separate state would apply. Negotiate your own treaties with the Nation of Louis.
On the other hand, if he's referring to just a 51st state, where's the carve out? Which state would cede land for Left Farrakhan? California? New York? I doubt it.
Apparently Farrakhan chooses to ignore history. A separate nation for Black Americans was established in Africa over 150 years ago. It's the nation of Liberia. A quick scan of the CIA World Factbook shows that despite its original lofty aims, it is today one of those "third world shitholes" President Trump referred to.

On a lighter note, one of my black friends has a running joke he likes to make. If he and I were dropped off in the middle of Africa somewhere, who would the indigenous population eat first?
