She was a candidate for Fort Worth City Council representing District 8. The election was held last month, but try as I might, I cannot find out what the results of the vote were.

Very articulate.

Knowing that it was Fort Worth she likely didn’t win. Which is a shame.

Payton Jackson (Nonpartisan) 7.6%

Well, she got 175 votes...
Sometimes you run even when you know you can't win. It takes courage. I'm glad she did it and articulated her thoughts.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I was just reporting the fact, for a topic that was raised. Wasn’t implying anything.

I know.
I wouldn't even know who this person is but for this thread. But having seen this brief clip, I'm glad she gave it a try. Republicans have and continue to make inroads with blacks.

Well the headline, "I was born black, not Democrat." got me to watch the video. That video was absolutely worth the 3 minutes.

According to her twitter, looks like she is planning a run for Congress in 2026. Congressional District 33 spans parts of Dallas, Grand Prairie and Fort Worth. She will have her work cut out to win, the district has a Democrat Congressman and voted 66% Kamala Harris to 32% Trump.

I have a few SIGs.

This is the worst example of a Black person according to the Damocrats. "She's actually informed! We can't have that!" said every Damocrat who viewed this video.

Of all the enemies the American citizen faces, the Democrat Party is the very worst.
