Aside from age it has to do with competency. Pelosi is another matter.

Amazing. The lust for power and position is never ending with many of our so called "representatives". She is a perfect example.

To answer the question, no. I think if you are of sound mind and body you should be allowed to run. But I know 35 year olds who run that should not and we all are watching the Fetterman fiasco. I do blame his election on TDS and the insanity that insues.

I do not find Nancy to be of sound mind, but that is up to the voters in her district.

Without term limits Congress is a dumpster fire.

I find the whole lot of them in DC to be powermad.

No contradiction. The voters always have the ABILITY to remove an old (or corrupt, or whatever) politician from office, they just don't do it as often as it should be done. Term limits would be the "fail-safe" for when the voters don't take care of it.

Fixed it for you. I expect that term limits might solve some problems and create other. No idea whether things would end up better or worse.

You know why.

Back at home, in the real world, she’s nothing. A washed up has-been hag married to a DUI driving rump ranger.

In DC she’s a power broker. She’s a king-maker and an untouchable part of the upper deck in a two tiered system.

You think she’d give that up to go home and fade into obscurity with the lush Larry Light-Loafers?

1) Jay Inslee GDC 3 term governor of Washington is the poster boy for term limits.

2)Politics shouldn't be a career and the administrative state shouldn't have the power it has.

3)I also think that everyone should have a pony.

Not if you’re a Dem in a secure Congressional District. I suppose the same can be said for a couple Republicans too.
