Have some self-respect. The entire spectacle is nothing but a bunch of lawless trash, trashing this country. Do you know what would be a good start in helping this nation recover? Outlaw all professional and colleges sports- all of them, forever.

Amen!

I don't watch that trash either.

You know what I did today rather than legitimize the trash culture by watching this detritus? I played with my grandchildren. They wore me out and my 2 yr old granddaughter stole my candy bar, but well worth the time. That is America. Not the Super bowl and the thug culture that orbits it.

I see performing at the the SB Half-time show is still indicative your career has ended. C'mon - what other event is synonymous with an interval full of bowel movements, bladder dumps and flow surges at municipal POTW stations nation-wide?

Inch by inch they are infiltrating every aspect of anything remotely American and destroying it.
Until you take away their power by not conforming to any of their shit, they will win.
You will be slowly conquered and you will assimilate.
They know what they’re doing.
Then there’s the thug worship. Hey win at all costs and all that right?
As long as my team wins and we buy the shit blasted on the idiot box.

Does anyone think that "END RACISM" painted on the back of one end zone will have an effect on society?

My wife turns on The Puppy Bowl.

Last time I watched a super bowl game it seems there was an old quarter back against a new rookie one...

Johnny Unitas and Joe Namath.

This can’t be a serious post. My wife has the game on after we left a friend’s house party. Half time show came on and I walked out and went to another room. A pregnant woman mock fucking 40 dancers is not creative. I’m no prude but damn she’s a mom. Waiting on the comet.

I haven't been interested in the Super Bowl in many years (even when our local team has appeared...and lost) but my wife wanted to watch last night since our younger daughter had known one of the players on the KC team during college. I watched with her for a little before going downstairs to read and watch an old movie (Fort Ti, George Montgomery, 1953, 2*).

After the game, my wife told me that the guy our daughter knew, Harrison Butker, had kicked a field goal with seconds left to win the game. I was glad for him and glad the game was over.

Yep.. we're being drip fed our intelligence thru the idiot boxes. What's cool, what's acceptable; what we need to know to stay the leading example of Capitalism and freedom. I've been aware for some time (around the Obumer administration) how the commercial advertising industry has glorified racial stereotypes.
I find it veery hard to watch any tv commercials objectively anymore, without racism glaring at me.

NFL takes heat over 'End Racism' message in end zone before Chiefs-Texans game
By Ryan Gaydos | Fox News

The NFL was taking some heat Thursday night leading up to the opening game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans over its “End Racism” slogan painted in the end zones at Arrowhead Stadium.

The league, as part of its social justice initiatives, said earlier this year it would paint “End Racism” on the end zones and have players wear decals to express a message during the season. However, the message appeared to have fallen flat with fans.

Yes, that is their message.

The NFL is a business that hires players based on ability and merit, not racial quotas. And IF the NFL really owned up to their virtue signaling, through affirmative action, they would mandate teams to have Asians, Native Americans, Hispanics, in their starting lineups. Same with the NBA. But it has never been about being color blind and "inclusiveness".

This super bowl is racist...

Since Obama, they have made everything about race. CRT, ESG, DEI are all anti-white and racist.

These ideas don't build anyone up. They simply divide us for the purpose of tearing down America.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

My only interest in the ‘bowl was one group that I’m in picked our squares by shooting shit guns at the board. And the other was at a friend’s club for a private party, went for the people, not the game.

I'm an Eagles fan so instead of watching the bowl game I listen to several Eagles CDs. Great guitar playing and top-notch harmony.
