To all of my brothers and sisters in arms I want you to be blessed, and thank you for your service.

For those that served before me I thank you for helping teach fellows like me what it means to be an adult, and for those who served after me I say thank you for carrying on traditions and keeping my rights and freedoms safe from tyranny.

Retired MSgt/E-7 USAF, 1986-2006 (20 yrs, 3 days). Ground Radio Maintenance (30474) first 4 yrs, then Communications-Computer Systems Operations (49171). OK, FL, South Korea, NJ, Germany, AZ. (Plus TX and MS for BMTS and Tech Schools.) TDYs/deployments to Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Netherlands, England, Belgium. Served with lots of great people and had many great opportunities/experiences!

Encourage young people to try the military for at least one hitch; it’s not for everyone as a career, but it’s great training and experience for anyone.

USAF 90-94, I was in the 2701st EOD Squadron which became the 649CES/CED when we got stuck with civil engineers. Knowing what I know now I should have stayed in and retired.

USN 90-94. My job title and training was for Mineman. There weren't many of us and I dont think that I've ever met anyone that held that job title since I was discharged.

Army, 1983-1988. Medical MOS, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. I worked in a medicinal chemistry lab, made drugs for a living! One of the compounds I helped with was used as an anti-malarial for a while.
