Eek and what a journey it had been.

I started it in July 2017 after having been out of school for 11 years. It was tough, I actually thought about quitting after my first 2 quarters but I kept at it. It was trying to drink from a fire hose but as I got further along in the program, I learned how to learn and built my network of peers who we shared the misery with.

Never thought I would get into a private school for graduate school, didn't think I could afford graduate school but both dreams came true. Met a lot of wonderful people along the way. Huge credit to my family for putting up with the late nights and long hours of reading case studies, writing and doing group assignments.

It wasn't easy but I did it. Big Grin

But it doesn't stop there, with 17 months of GI Bill remaining, I applied to, and was accepted, to a Master in Human Resources program at a local college. I will start that in late August.

Now I focus on networking and finding a career.

Congratulations!!!

I finished mine from Embry-Riddle three years ago (or so) and it was focused on Aviation. It was an MBAA (MBA-Aviation).

Where did you earn yours from?

Good luck on the HR degree. My wife has it as a Master's in addition to her business undergraduate. I've been trying to get a hire done this week.
A good and competent HR professional is a godsend. Unfortunately they seem to be almost as rare as unicorns.
The wife rose quick in a Fortune 50 because she is someone who does what she promised when she promised.
In 28 years at my Fortune 60 company I've encountered one that wasn't a waste of carbon.

ETA: You are obviously on a fast track. You hit the market with your attitude and those degrees and you will do very well. Realized what I posted above didn't really reflect what I was trying to say. Congratulations and good luck.

Good for you!

Sounds like you are on a similar path as myself some years ago. Not really knowing where you are going but knowing you have to go somewhere. So...you just keep moving up.

You'll get there. Wink
