I know I can get them online. I am curious about mail theft. I have one from Fidelity, None from Vanguard or Social Security.

The only 1099 I get by US Mail is ssa-1099. I wonder if that can be stopped.

A rogue postal worker could be a source of ID theft.

Try going into your social security account to stop paper copies.
