hrcjondon't have to mail them till 1/31. And USPS says first class mail is 2-7 days and only a tiny fraction of the mail is in that window. So I wouldn't even be disappointed till around 2/14

ZSMICHAELWell sort of. The postman left it on the sidewalk all crumpled and wet. The different companies that pay me take their time. There must be minimal penalties. I get quite a few and check them carefully. One company stated I made 150 grand from them. Obviously an error. The secretary told me not to worry about it. After repeated calls and letters it was resolved six months later.

walkinghorseReceived last 1099 on Friday 01/30, took everything to tax preparer appt. On Sat. 02/01 who filed electronically. Received accepted notice later Sat. afternoon.
