It’s great that you found him the car he was looking for. It sure looks like it would be a lot of fun to drive at the track, or a number of different roads I have driven. Specifically Old Spiral Highway, right outside of Lewiston Idaho. It’s a road that I recommend everyone drives at least once in their lifetime.

What stood out to me was the Porsche Exclusive/Special Wish tailoring. Other than the glovebox in Alcantara, I can’t see anything stand out (fantastic pepita seat centers btw). Any ideas what the tailoring was?

I think the gt3 touring is the undisputed, most slept on car of 2018/2019. They’re going for really good money, especially when spec’d right (18 way seats etc) I’ll try and find a picture of the one I built him[/QUOTE]

My friend just bought a GT3 with 30 miles on it. Can't wait to go for a ride. He wanted the 6 speed manual.

It's so encouraging to see people demonstrating that they're appreciative of what others do for them these days! Very cool!

Long ago a super wealthy buddy (I met through an employee of his I had dated via match.com) asked me to keep an eye out for a pre-A Speedster for him. He wasn't a great English speaker and didn't spend a lot of time on chat boards. But I found one locally, at that time in Middleburg, VA. Seller was one of those guys you hire to go anywhere in the world to find some special car. I called and made an appt. He didn't sound like he took me seriously. The day arrived and I had been wrenching on some other beater 911 with some friends, was covered in grease and didn't go home to get cleaned up. My Japanese buddy showed up in his 996TT and we drove over there. I was in my 993. When I knocked on the guy's door, he acted like he couldn't be bothered. But he walked us into his garage and here’s what he had.

My buddy bought it on the spot for I think around $60k, which was market price 15-18 yrs ago. A few days later that seller called me up and thanked me profusely, asked that I keep him in mind anytime my buddy was looking for something else. My buddy eventually bought some commercial space and hired the whole crew from the local Ferrari dealership to maintain his fleet of about 30 Ferraris.
