Well, let's see...

- He definitely appears to be on OUR side, and VERY Pro 2A.
- He'd certainly be an improvement over Wayne LaPierre.
- He's already wealthy, so he wouldn't be looking to enrich himself while at the helm of the NRA.
- He's has a lineage and track record of accomplishment and getting things done.

I'd Support Him! Wink

Great Value Stephen King needs to fuck off into the sunset. He could be replaced by three potatoes and a shirt button and it would be an improvement.

Actually take control, or just be a mouthpiece for Wayne? Wayne isn't going anywhere without a fight.

Is the board willing to actually remove Wayne? I thought he had ironclad control.

Probably increase membership numbers and annual contributions to the NRA by existing members, NRA should seriously consider it.

I have a feeling Wayne will ride the NRA down to oblivion, Dr. Strangelove style.

Do the right thing Wayne LaP.
Have the books audited.
Pay back what you have stolen, misappropriated.
Ride off into the sunset.
Stand trial.

Couldn’t be worse that Wayne, and might be better. But, actually taking ownership of and running an organization isn’t Don Jr’s thing.

This. Well, maybe not even Stand trial.
I'll be happy with just Go away!
Wayne knows the membership is done with him... yet he hangs on.
Money, power.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Was gonna say the same thing, being the head of a large, visible advocacy organization requires someone with connections within both corporate and legal world, along with some charisma. Not sure what Don Jr brings to the table other than enthusiasm.
