Washington Times, May 26 In reference to a Mayday Christian Rally that was attacked by left-wing protestors: “SeattleMayor Bruce Harrell, a Democrat, condemned the “far-right rally” for holding their event in Cal Anderson Park to “provoke a reaction by promoting beliefs that are inherently opposed to our city’s values, in the heart of Seattle’s most prominent LGBTQ+ neighborhood.” And I thought Christian values were a good thing! We had a recent brief discussion on homosexuality on page 23, in the ongoing Christianity thread... https://sigforum.com/eve/forum...35/m/9610038215/p/23 Regarding the Seattle event, multiple articles I read shared the fact that the rally organizers tried to hold the event in another location, which was denied by the city. So this location, offensively "in the heart of the LGBTQ community", wasn't their first choice. I also saw the mayor quoted as saying that anarchists that infiltrated the LGBTQ anti-rally were to blame for the violence. Because there's no way that LGBTQ people would act violently. ![]() According to the Mayday folks, none of their people were among the 23 arrested.

Miami’s city government is openly anti-Christian. Latin culture is, essentially, Soviet so it’s not really a surprise.

There's a bit of real irony here, considering one of the main Mayday "preachers" was raised by a lesbian couple... https://rossjohnston.co/about-ross/ ...Whether he was at this Seattle event, I am not sure.
