It's beyond idiotic. We went through this shit in the late 60s/early 70s in this country, and now we're back at it. There's a terrestrial explanation for all of this, but since it's unknown, our idiotic society makes this all about flying saucers and little green men. It's perfect. In addition to all the other fanatasies and false beliefs we have in this world, we get this shit again. It was stupid then, it's stupid now, and it will again be stupid when some future generation starts up this childish dream.

while I believe that we are not alone in the universe (given the apparent age of the universe, and the apparent age of our planet), I have no doubt that there are other civilizations out there that are still flourishing, and some that have come and gone

however, I don't believe they've come to visit

in the 60's and 70's and to a certain extent in the 80's everyone with a Kodak Insta-matic or a Polaroid was taking photos of UFO's

all low resolution, fuzzy, not well composed, either badly under or overexposed and few with any reference objects

with the advent of high resolution mobile phone cameras, and with a billion of them in use, one would expect to see thousands if not millions of crystal clear, sharp color photos of the 'aliens'

seems like when everyone got a high rez camera in their pockets, the aliens decided to stay home rather than risk being photographed...

In some circles is has been determined that the releasing of classified videos of these fast mover objects, and the Government for the first time loosening restrictions for pilots to report incidences of these UFO/AEP crafts. If the very same Government who was been in a total information lockdown of UFO's have now currently acknowledged that there is in fact an Area 51, and in addition releasing classified Navy videos of tracking these fast moving crafts, plus relaxing the once order to gag pilots from reporting them, it would appear that the Government is authorizing the release of these incidents to the media for publication. In addition to declassifying ATIP which at one point was totally classified and the Government claimed that they had no ongoing programs or studies concerning UFO's.

Loosening up a disclosing info about once top secret and highly classified programs related to UFO's and the ongoing study of them may have another agenda.

I've been hearing that this may be a prelude to planning a "false flag" operation to fake an alien invasion on the people. Causing panic and terror to justify to the American people that "we" need to take these threats seriously and thus approve huge sums of $$$ support to unregulated deep black projects to combat against the possibility of any hostile alien attacks/invasions.

The amount of money that they could channel into these projects and their true purposes would be so classified we'd never know where the money goes and into what projects.

I personally am not 100% convinced about the alien angle, but from all I've read from the leaders of the huge Government Projects, some have already alluded to the fact that they in fact have reversed engineered crafts that can be used to pull off a false flag invasion to cause fear and panic on the public and further justify dumping billions and trillions of $$ more into these deep black classified projects that we will never be able to track.

I believe that many of the current technologies we see flying around brazenly in broad daylight, in front of scores of witnesses ie; airports, military installations, nuclear facilities, even Government infrastructures are just the tip of the spear to further this agenda to drive huge $$ into their programs to protect the people, the Citizens of Earth.

Then again, I'm likely to be totally wrong. I have to believe that there are way smarter people running things and I can only hope that they have our interest at heart.

But really, what do I know??

Some of you may have heard of the infamous “Report From Iron Mountain”, the supposed leaked government think tank document from the 60’s that among other things, discussed ways to create artificial crises to control populations. It’s a favorite among conspiracy theorists.
I have no idea if it was real but it’s interesting that it said that ecological disasters would be the most promising. They liked the idea of an alien invasion but they weren’t sure that they could fool the majority of the population into believing it. I’m sure the population is way past stupid enough to be fooled now.

I don't think it is a matter of where they are from, but when they are from.

60s & 70s? I don't think it ever really went away. The X-Files ran from 1990-1999, IIRC. Remember when Independence Day was released in 1996? I'm by no means and expert on military planes and such.. but a couple of years back my wife and I were sailing on the New Bern river just above Cherry Point in N.C. It was normal to see a Marine or Navy Jet fly by. I was on the bow of the boat and my wife was at the helm and I turned and looked back and some type of Jet about a mile or two away went by... it was traveling 3-4 times faster than any we had seen before... Literally if I had blinked I would not have seen it.
