So a married couple I've made friends with (both female) enjoyed going to the range with me, and they bought a gun for protection, but we never talked politics. I knew from their FB page which way they were slanted and didn't want to engage that conversation. Blew my mind when I drove by last month and they had a Trump/Pence flag hung proudly. I was shocked and delighted at the same time. I stopped in and we had a little talk about why the change of heart. Basically the talk from back home (Illinois) scared them and they realized that no state taxes and the new found freedoms the 2A gives them are more important than having Bernie/Kamala/Liz/Joe in charge. They're not stocked up on ammo and actually complained on FB, and the chime-ins from their lefty friends are priceless. Yeah, that had nothing to do with New York, sorry...

What people now have to take in consideration, other than the typical bogeyman CA, NY, Mass, OR citizens moving to free states, is election fraud, which I 100% believe has been happening for years, to turn red states to blue. I certainly think AZ is a prime example with the 2018 senate election, and the recent one as well.

This is the ultimate slap in the face.

Well - the conservative States make things very easy, friendly and convenient for the left that is migrating in - so this is inevitable.

I have a neighbor that just moved down the street from me from San Diego - he's upset because none of the folks in the neighborhood talk to him. (he has a Bernie sticker on his Volvo)

Being from an extreme leftist state and city, I know that when I leave, I'll be leaving all that progressive type crap behind me. I have always considered myself behind enemy lines as this city and state have always been contrary to what I believe. I am looking forward to moving to a freedom loving place for me and my family as soon as I retire. I regret not leaving when I saw the writing on the wall a long time ago, but the light is shining brighter and brighter each and every day as I am emerging from the dark tunnel. We all have our reasons for doing what we did or why we stayed, but those restraints are being loosed and I'll be finally free.

Most of the bail outs from the OP's post didn't move far. I'm an hour north of NYC and my MIL is 30 miles east on Long Island. Houses in our areas are all going for more than asking, with multiple offers. Same thing for NJ and as far west as PA.

I agree with Oddball here. After watching the presentation by Guilani and Sidney, I suspect the Dems have been manufacturing wins for many, many years. Califonia and other western states may not be as blue as the votes show. As was mentioned previously WA state governor's race was stolen in 2004, they then went to all mail in voting, and the Dems have "won" ever since. In reality Washington and probably Oregon are Red, but with voter fraud they appear to be blue.
