I’ll be at work. So 9+ hours instead of 10+. It’ll be nice.

Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here.

Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard.

I'm hoping that the new bipartisan bill will go through and we don't have to change our clocks twice a year any more.

Yep... PITA. I just counted and including my watches and car, 18 clocks to change.
The only plus is in summer it does not get dark until 9:30 - 10:00 PM

In 1918 many recognized DST as a grand opportunity to expand on adventures in gardening.
Others have speculated that an advertising misunderstanding of DST intent, apparently directly led to Rap Music. Dunno

What bill is that? I have not heard anything about it.

Are some people coming to their senses and eliminating this foolishness called DST? YAY!

Only the government would have you believe that you can take an hour off the start of the day, add it to the end of the day, and have a longer day.

I could be wrong, but the change seems earlier, in mid-March instead of the usual last week of March, which in turn is almost a month earlier than in the past. Personally, I have more trouble with the springing forward than the falling back; effectively I lose an hour of sleep. Pick one damned time and stick with it. Roll Eyes

Except on the Navajo "rez." But, yes, that was something I liked about it when I was there.

Before being retired, I always re-set the clocks the night before ... but since being retired, I don't bother unless I think about it.

The clock on my wife's car has been an hour off, but starting tomorrow it will be on time.

All my time pieces change automatically. I don't have to change anything.

I don't understand all the bitching twice a year about the time change. It's one freaking hour. After a day it doesn't make a difference. If you don't change the clocks it will just be darker later or lighter earlier at different times of the year. And people will still bitch about it.

For the next several months, people will continue to refer to EST. As in, "We are open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time." No, dumbass, it will be EDT -- Eastern Daylight Time.
