Ever since iOS 11 came out I get a message telling me an accessory is not supported by my device. I get this message probably twice a day and only get it on my iPad; I never get it on my iPhone. I never have gotten this message before iOS 11. I have an iPad Pro and have the pen which works just fine so it can’t be that. I can’t figure out what is trying to connect to my iPad and haven’t been able to find anything on the interwebs. Has anyone else had this message? NRA Benefactor Life Member

I see it flicker quite often with the charging cable in use. Not otherwise. Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Just for the hell of it |
I've gotten that before and it's always a cable or power adapter the cable to connect to. _____________________________________ Because in the end, you won’t remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn. Climb that goddamn mountain. Jack Kerouac

I have never had the message when I have a charging cable plugged in or anything else. I get it when I am just sitting there using my iPad with nothing connected to the connection port. NRA Benefactor Life Member

A couple of things to try: 1. Clean the lightning port - possibly lint buildup? 2. Plug cable into iPad then plug into power adapter or computer. You could also try this in reverse, power adapter -> iPad. ...let him who has no sword sell his robe and buy one. I have cleaned out the lightning port with a compressed air can, but it did not appear to have anything in it so we will see if I get the message again. NRA Benefactor Life Member
