Not sure exactly but sure looks like the intended victim (off duty officer) had a jam after each round he fired.
Can’t figure out what else he would be doing after each round bringing his left hand up like that.

Way to stay in the fight!

Perhaps he was a fan of the “Israeli” method, but figured if it was a good idea to cycle the slide manually before the first shot, it would be even better to manually cycle the slide after every shot. Wink

Glad he’s okay. No way that gun would have been approved if he tried to qualify with it.
I had to put my foot down and stop letting my guys carry anything they wanted off duty. Too many garbage guns.

Watching it closer it looks to me like he was able to get two rounds off without racking at around the 14sec mark although it's difficult to see. I would suspect he was carrying something he hadn't tested before and his pistol just didn't like it.

Hard to see. I think it is a nervous reaction to a tense situation maybe. Hard to say.

It could be that he is using bullets that are too light.
When I first shot a brand new cz999 9mm I had stove pipes with about every round.
Turns out I was using 115grain bullets.
Not enough bullet weight (time/pressure) to allow the slide to fully come to the rear.
Switched to 124grain and never another problem.

This demonstrates the absolute need to always have your doors locked. Something I've tried to impress on my wife for 34+ years and my kids ever since they were old enough to ride in the cars. Even in my own driveway the first thing I do when I get in my truck is lock the damn doors. Hope the cop was able to get those 2 theiving motherfuckers.

I agree with you on always having doors locked.

Those hoods saw him and his head was probably down looking at his cell phone or something and they saw an opportunity.

Unfortunately, a lot of cars these days will automatically unlock the doors when it is put into park or when you shut the ignition off. I hate that "feature" and I disable whenever I can. I can unlock the doors myself.

What a nightmare of a pistol. A pump pistol.
Whatever that guy is shooting, he needs to ditch it.

Does anyone know the outcome of this incident?

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I immediately lock the doors as soon I get into the car. As soon as the door closes, I hit the lock button. Do it enough times, and it becomes habit.

Cop learned a lesson about carrying a quality, tested gun with quality ammunition. Watching it jam after every shot is freaking ridiculous.

At least the rounds that did fire were SCAREY ACCURATE.

But not DEADLY ACCURATE, otherwise the perp would be dead? Wink

^^^ I often have a dream, where my gun continually jams or fails to fire when I pull the trigger!
