PerceptionGame of Thrones for me too. The last season was mediocre at best, and that final episode was the worst episode of anything I've ever seen.

I am one of the few that liked the Seinfeld finale.
The greatest appeal of that show is that there was no sentimentality. No outpouring of emotion, no empathy, etc.
So how do they close a show, still without having these things? They did as good a job as they could, keeping true to the show.
In other words, it would have been a lot worse had they gotten sappy and had the characters behave well . .out of character.

Totally. Couldn't figure out if they knew the series was ending early on during Season 3, or they had to film a new last episode after Season 3 was finished, just to have a conclusion.
Interesting note, though he was not really featured in the last 2 seasons, Sam Shepard (Robert Rayburn) died 2 months after Season 3 was released in 2017.

Never saw a single episode of Lost (couldn't get over the laughable concept of the show).
Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

David WNo offense to folks saying Seinfeld but, the ending was SO Seinfeld, perfect. I was really glad they didn't jump the shark on the last episode and do something way out of character.
Game of Thrones is my number one, followed closely by Bloodlines (season 1 was a delight to watch), Dexter (feel apart last few seasons) and Lost makes the list too because they should have blown my mind like they did SO many times before and didn't)

I agree wholeheartedly with this. It was a great show until the last year and a half when it ran out of steam, but was still good. The finale was just a downer.

I don’t know about nhtagmember, but I didn’t like the way Hawkeye fell apart. Through the whole run he had it together, but then they did the chicken/baby thing on the bus that made him loose it. I didn’t like that done with my favorite character.
If this thread was about worst and best, my vote for best would be the new BSG and The Office.

I thought that Walt shooting up their clubhouse in the last episode was one of the best scenes of all of the breaking bads.......
