I just switched to Harry’s and so far like it.

Serious question for those of you that said you shave in the shower…do you use a mirror? If so, is it mounted on the wall or is it handheld?

No, just by feel.

Yup, there’s three suction cups on the back and it’s stuck to the glass across from the shower controls. Mrs. Mike has her back scrubber brush hanging from the mirror.

Similar to this available at target: https://www.target.com/p/sucti...51577347#lnk=sametab

But I’ve been shaving in the shower for 30 years (when I wasn’t at sea-sea showers were enforced) I could do it in the dark.

I shave in the shower using regular body wash soap. I've never understood the need for special shaving lubricants.

I use the disposable multi-blades in the Costco mega-pack, and use them for a long time.

Since you brought that up...

I dry shave. I have since I went in the Army.

I use the "Tooletries". It sticks to the wall without adhesives or suction cups. It uses some sort of magic clinginess. It claims to be anti-fog, but does fog. I keep a plastic cup in shower to splash hot water on the mirror. Voila, no more fog. It is plastic, not glass.

I will dry-shave on occasion when the need arises.

I do wonder whether all this shaving gel stuff contributes to clogged pipes.

I use a mirror mounted to the shower hose frame. I prefer shaving in the shower to get the benefit of the steam.

I've got super coarse hair that grows very quickly (2 weeks and I've got my beard back from clean shaven), and usually have a beard but go babyfaced every now and then. Harry's razors last a couple shaves longer than others, but I still only got 3-4 shaves per blade tops when just cleaning up my neck, and if I'm not careful toward the end I'll end up with ingrown hairs that invariably get infected and make a huge mess of my face. They just don't last, and they're expensive.

When my grandfather passed in January I was given his Schick injector single edge razor from the 50's. It gave me slightly better results, but I kept cutting myself so I dropped the idea and left it on the shelf in the bathroom.

I was shopping at Walgreens a couple of months ago and saw a King C Gillette (yeah, I know...but bear with me) double edge safety razor and figured I'd give it a try, and at $18 I wouldn't be out much if it was found wanting. Lo and behold, it's freakin' amazing. I don't get much more (if anything) in the way of blade life, but the shave quality is out of this world, and when I can get 100 blades for $12 on Amazon longevity doesn't matter quite as much and I'm much more okay with changing blades every few shaves. I do have complaints, but it's all related to the knurling on the handle, so it's stuff I can live with. Overall, I'm very pleased.

I shave my face with disposable blades part of the year and have a beard in the cooler months.

I also shave my head with a Head Blade ATX all year round.

And then I line up my sideburns in the mirror after I get out.

I shave seven days a week and use a Harry's razor with Cremo Shave Cream in a tube.

Typically I'm a double-edge safety razor guy though if I'm doing something spiffy I'll do a straight razor or shavette. I'm definitely a mug and brush man, I wont voluntarily go back to can. The closest I've been to a can was when they did the Jurassic park barbasols though I wouldn't have actually used it.

Goatee guy here, usually shave a few times a week with a Mach 3 razor and Aveeno gel. I need to look for another razor option now that Gillette has gone all woke/fruitcake.

I answered "Other" when it came to shave creme. I use Cremo. An amount about the size of an almond is just right. I use it to shave my head as well.
