I saw $3.51 in Reading on Monday

Just glad it's not $10 a gallon because it easily could be right now

Just saw gasoline $3.29/gallon and diesel at $4.29/gallon in southern New Mexico. Hopefully as we tow the RV towards San Antonio we'll see cheaper prices.

I'm in the DFW area and I noticed 2 or 3 years ago fuel would jump overnight 35 to 40 cents. Then steadily drop a few cents a day for about 1.5 to 2 weeks and remain steady for a few days. Then pop up 35 to 40 cents again and the cycle begins again...seemingly for no reason. It was like clockwork and felt like collusion to me. I wondered if the same was occurring nation wide.

Premium gas at Racetrac is about 40 cents more than regular.

At some of the other stations, premium is an additional 80 cents.

On a good day I'll get just over 9 MPG. Big Grin

Up over $1 gallon increase in 6 days. $2.33 to $3.49.

In large part I suspect because of the refinery closures on the west coast.

The strait is shut down. That's 20 percent. No one will insure the tankers. Oil fields going offline as there is no place left to store oil. Much of middle east food delivered through same strait.
Gas and food prices will rise to reflect the situation

$2.79 2 weeks ago. $3.85 today. Retired so no big deal to me, don't drive much. But someone filling up 2 or 3 times a week is sure going to notice.
