$4.40-5.50 for diesel in Michigan.

I was admittedly in Truckee, but I saw $6.79 for regular.

I paid $3.89 for Premium yesterday PM...Up from the $3.45 I was paying for Premium at the end of February.

3.39 per gallon regular unleaded. Cost me $12.36 extra to fill up yesterday compared to last month.

Frankly, I've gotten more than $12.36 in entertainment from watching Iranian shit and shitstains blow-up.

Up a little, now ~ $3.48-$3.65. I can't prove it and could still be wrong, but I think this has reached a plateau and is leveling off.

Up almost $2 a gallon. The “replacement cost” scam is sure lining some pockets of oil companies and politicians.

My wife bought gas at Costco yesterday. It was $4.59. This is for 91 octane, but the Costco we frequent has only 85 and 91. We choose the latter.

The longer term futures market is showing price decreases. For example, this screenshot is summer reformulated gasoline (aka RBOB) futures closing from yesterday through Sept as RBOB usage ends Sept 15th (i.e. when EPA allows switching back to less expensive conventional gasoline for winter):


The futures market is often a good indicator of prices in the upcoming months but it can be wrong (e.g. summer gasoline prices the 2nd time Russia invaded Ukraine).

3.299 at Costco just now, for 87

Had to swipe my card 4x yesterday to get gas for the jet skis and diesel for the truck. Each swipe was limited to $125.

Diesel here is almost $6 a gallon this morning.

Ethanol free Rec 90 was $.20 cheaper than the 87 octane ethanol gas at Chevron this morning. I strongly suspect the sign for the Rec 90 was supposed to be $4.69 not $3.69.

Put gas in the Lexus yesterday, it requires premium, It was $5.65 per gallon. This was at Shell just outside of Chicago.

$4.15 for premium at Costco, in TX.
