We can only hope that these DemonCrap Jacobins go the same way as their namesake predecessors, and soon.

History DOES repeat itself.

If we study it and have an open mind to objective fact, we know how it unfolds, depending on our choices.

I hope he's wrong on that, but I suspect he's right. That does mean we'll have to kill these people.

I've been having similar thought as VDH for a while. Climate change is their religion, leftism is their religion, and can't you see that we leftists are good people and better than you?

No, no I can't. I used to see the left as a little misguided, but now I tend to think of the far left as godless heathens and we are truly in a battle of good vs evil.

If the left had leader they liked he'd have a big smile and say the rich should pay just a bit more in taxes. Well okay, but the last politician just wanted 2% more, and the one before that wanted 2% more, and the next one will want 2% more and this will go on till we dump the tea in the harbor, or we have a revolution. They only have one idea, take everything from the hard working people who should pay for everyone else.

As VDH points out, the parallels between now and the Jacobins are clear, and there are even more parallels with other authoritarian ideologies from the past; the Soviet Union, and the Brownshirts in Nazi Germany. As VDH stated, the Democrats today have embraced political violence, sees assassination as a tool. They see Republicans and conservatives as their true enemy, and wish to see us disappear, be eliminated.

Very good video. I feel it shows more about human nature and the common mental disorder of liberals, rather than they studied this theory and then followed it. It is the generalities within Human Nature that have a lot to do with history repeating itself.

One of the features of the Jacobin movement, and indeed all leftist revolutions, is the imposition of loyalty tests. Another feature of most revolutions is that the person most willing and able to be ruthless will prevail. Ruthlessness is an excellent characteristic for success within a chaotic and violent uprising. One must prove their bona fides to remain within the movement, and as the movement becomes more extreme, the more vicious newcomers do away with the earlier members who don't play along with the increased radicalism.

There have been many loyalty tests from the left over the recent decade, becoming more radical in nature. I think this is an underrated warning that a more dangerous leadership is evolving on the left.
