So we drove from NC over the weekend, Friday we visited Mrs. Mike's Great Grand ma (92!!) in Spartanburg and then proceeded to the parking lot known as Atlanta.

Stuck in traffic for an hour on 75/85 until we got to the hotel.

Little Tommy was upset because the pool was closed when we finally gt in and got some food.

BTW-Taco Bell sucks!

Saturday we made it to Ruston LA. The only kink was when the large type dog blew chow in the front seat of my truck. He never even gave us a warning, stood up, turned to face the window and yackked!!

Little man was happy as we spent an hour in the pool at that hotel.

Then Sunday we left LA and got into Texas around 1000, then we spent the next few hours driving to Temple.

Got to our apartment (temp housing) and got to take the Tomminator to the pool.
We found an HEB this morning and I was able to put some sugar in the coffee this morning. AHHH

One of Mrs. Mike's co-workers is fostering the large type dog product. Little man cried when we backed out of the driveway and had to leave Rock (the dog).

We go visit the builder after 1300 to pick out interior stuff and paint and what not...clearly the military has this interior decorating down pat, buff bulkheads, gray decks, white overheads....exterior white (unless sent to combat then you get a choice of light or dark haze gray)

Gotta find a bank, insurance guy, get new DL, get new tags, I'm sure a buncha other stuff....
