That looks awesome!

"The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people."
"Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy."
"I did," said Ford, "it is."
"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?"
"It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want."
"You mean they actually vote for the lizards."
"Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."
"But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?"
"Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."

Or at least hopefully have access to good medical care and robust disability insurance.

I was very surprised that there was only the one wreck early on where the rider flipped and jumped right back up like a jack-in-the-box.

It was amazing to see how he managed to successfully navigate around fully stopped riders on either side of him as he came around hairpin turns completely blind.

Parts of me would beat them to the bottom of the hill... the rest of me would need to be gathered up along the route.

I would like to apologize to anyone I have *not* offended. Please be patient. I will get to you shortly.

Gotta wonder how often the brakes and bearings are checked on all of those carts.

I was wondering about that as well. As violent as that course is, it wouldn't be unreasonable to check every cart when it is turned in after each run.

I ride full suspension downhill mountain bike on the blue and black trails in the New Mexico, Colorado and Canadian Rockies, but I don't think I'm doing those carts.
