I have a recurring dream that is a little similar. In the dream, I've signed to join the military and I'm off to basic training in a few weeks. In the dream, I do realize that I am too old for basic training and that it is going to suck. The dream causes me quite a bit of anxiety while I'm sleeping. I'm always relieved to wake up and realize I don't have that commitment ahead of me.
