Timdogg6Need Excel Help on a Loan Sheet
I want to have a loan calculator where I can add in extra payments in a given month. All of the templates show me an extra payment which is then applied to every month.
I need to be able to have a column where if in a month my borrower makes an extra $150 payment, it will reduce principal and keep running. without me changing anything.
Anyone have something like this?

vthokyI believe I have what you're looking for.
As the table populates, you can replace the math in the relevant "extra payment" cell with an actual value, and it will take that value and run with it. You've got email incoming.

Thank you for that, SigSAC.
We are in the process of looking for our first home. At the ripe age of 40, I will be a first time home buyer.

Local governments often have subsidies for first time home buyers. It wouldn’t hurt to look at those options if available.
And I actually like that excel file. The chart and the header blocks make it snazzy
