5 years x 10 episodes a year = 50 episodes
$1,500,000,000 contract
yields $30,000,000 per episode

My skepticism alert is on high but there is crazy money in entertainment. If true, life is very good for Trey and Matt. They write funny stuff and poke fun at everyone.


Let me help you out. Which way did you come in?

I suspect that for this money, once they complete the 5 year series that Paramount retains all rights to the program, additional production and residuals for these and possibly prior episodes.

Still, probably a good deal for the two guys!

I suspect if that was even brought up during negotiations, Matt and Trey told them to fuck off and that they’ll produce whatever they please about whomever they please… and that Paramount sighed and said “ok”.
