Hey all-

I need a loud, durable megaphone or voice amplifier for calling range commands on the firing line. It needs to be very very loud and tough enough to handle dust, rain, 120 degree heat and freezing temperatures.

What have you all used that works well?

Make it totally clear to anyone standing at the wrong end that things are going badly for them. If that means sticking all sort of spikes and prongs and blackened bits all over it then so be it. This is not a gun for hanging over the fireplace or sticking in the umbrella stand, it is a gun for going out and making people miserable with." -Douglas Adams

Thanks.
Does anyone else have any suggestions or experiences to share?

The high school bandleader uses the Califone brand,
The local auctioneer has five of the Califone brand as well

Both use them out doors.

Could not find a shooting range application.

I'm partial to Fanon megaphones. I used both the 16 watt and 25 watt versions when I was a rowing referee, and their performance was excellent. For range use the 16 watt should be perfect.
