We had our roof washed (a second time) last week. I think we last did it six years ago. I'm no roof guy, and I was thinking about climbing up there and bringing some spare shingles I have (from the original install) up to compare, but instead, I just brought the drone out. In general, how do you think they look? I can see some splits in a few of them, but it does not look too bad. As we reach that point in homeownership (20 years) where stuff needs replacement, we're curious about the roof's condition. There are no known leaks, but I have not been up in the attic in quite some time to look around. That is on my list for the fall/winter. They are big images, so you probably should be on broadband to view them. The shingles are 19-years-old, Timberline30 in Mission Brown. https://www.smugmug.com/gallery/n-Zrk4c7/ Steve Small Business Website Design & Maintenance - https://spidercreations.net | OpSpec Training - https://opspectraining.com | Grayguns - https://grayguns.com Evil exists. Get a trusted roofing contractor to inspect your shingles/roof. Your pictures look pretty good for 19 year old shingles IMO, but it's no way to assess your roof properly. "We've done four already, but now we're steady..." | |||
