DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Interstate 20 westbound will be closed for an indefinite amount of time as crews figure out the cause of a massive road buckling. (Flat Shoals Road)

That was the worst fucking video I've ever seen in my life. Whoever the asshole was that decided to put that crawl across the most important thing in the frame - THE BUCKLED ROAD - should be fired immediately.

Between this and the collapsed overpass the other week, traffic down there is gonna be a WRECK for some time to come. Glad I don't live in Hotlanta...

Horrible place for the news banner since it covers the actual focus of the story... That's one hell of a heave/buckle. Wow.

His comments and the interviewed woman were pretty stupid, too. "This is the kind of thing you'd expect to see in San Francisco or Los Angeles." Uh, no, because that shit has never happened here.

For fuck's sake. Who cares? Enough with the complaining about the video. Jesus.

If you have no comments pertinent to the subject at hand, stay out of the thread.

TV said a motorcycle was down near the hump. Imagine hitting that at 70+ on a motorcycle!

Motorcyclist is in critical condition, bike totaled. Supposedly contractor was pressure testing the line.

Apparently a motorcyclist hit is as it was beginning to buckle. Supposedly was thrown 10-15 feet. In critical condition?

This is going to really play havoc with the traffic in conjunction with the I-85 collapse.

Now all we need is a major outage on I-75!

Edit: Two others posted about the motorcyclist while I was typing.

If this is the case, we have reached that point in history where we simply cannot avoid human error.

I hope it isn't what happened, but that would certainly explain the buckle.

Stupidity will likely kill us all.

It is fixed as of today per local news. Lanes open and waiting for re-striping.

Then we got the good news of I-285 flooding today as well.
