Have to ask, did you know about the search for it or actually google that question hoping for the answer? When I read the post that question popped into my head first since there's most likely a number that is prime but no one knows it yet.

Any other geometric shape will have one dimension shorter than another and thus can fall through. Round lids can't fall through the opening of the jar. Same reason.

It amazes me how many people think this is a great imponderable.
