My heart goes out to you Artie, and Magnum. It was so great to see the photo of Magnum the other day and he looked great. I'll remember him as he was. Godspeed Magnum Frown

Sigmonkey, it does the heart good to see Dolce, I have a huge soft spot for animals but horses are special..

So sorry for your loss. We lost our Blondie last year, they leave a big space when they are gone.

I'm very sorry to hear this.

We had to put down a beloved Mare several years ago due to an out-of-the-blue episode of extreme colic. It was devastating and I still think of that time all too often.

We lost another Mare last December and although that was on her own terms, it was just as difficult.

You are in my thoughts.

So sorry for your loss. I wouldn't wish the loss of a beloved animal on anyone. The grief can be overwhelming. Take care.

If people would mind their own damn business this country would be better off. I owe no one an explanation or an apology for my personal opinion.

I am so sorry. I can’t believe we were just admiring him in the image the other day, learning of his amazing heritage. I’ve no doubt your partner is devastated as well.
How old was he? You said she was a competitive rider and that he was a hunter. How sad to lose not only a dear friend, but also a partner in the sport they both loved.

Indeed, and thanks to all.

He was 13, and they had been together for 10 years.
