Men, Christ wants all of us to come to Him, and take forgiveness.

Everyone.

If needed, I’ll figure out how to build a playlist on YouTube, but Gospel Funk, and African Gospel, has been helpful shaking off the violent BS.

Study Scripture, Catechism, etc. Pray. And walk with the Spirit.

If He calls you to violence, you WILL know - but it’s wildly more likely that He will call you to witness.

We are to help Him heal the world, not help Satan burn it.

Throw in a little Reggae, take Psalms verses 19 and 137 from the Hebrew Bible and you get this

I like this statement.

Politicians seem to have forgotten that they work for us, not the other way around.

Johnny - nothing particular, but I have gotten very particular about religious music in languages I don’t know.

I only listen to it if I know it’s OK/trust the reputation of the author etc.

We are the salt of the world. Salt is very effective in cleansing wounds, reduce swelling and inflammation, and can draw fluid out of cells to dehydrate the area and kill bacteria at the wound site.

Salt heals but it can certainly be painful when used to heal.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

I don't understand. The song is in English sung by Jamaicans. It's Bible verse. Those ancients that wrote the Psalms have a pretty good reputation, historically speaking. King David alone is credited with writing 73 of the Psalms. Of course, Moses and Solomon added some.

It brings me joy to hear it. Don't use it. I will still be visiting your project as you proceed and pray that it accomplishes your intended purpose.

Here it is with lyrics. Perhaps reading the lyrics while it is playing will be of benefit. I hope you then can enjoy it.

Oh I don’t object to Psalms, at all.

I misunderstood I guess - haven’t gotten a chance to listen to it.

I thought you said it was in Hebrew.

I will give it a listen once I get a chance to stream it, without waking the baby

If they are singing psalms in Hebrew that seems very cool.

Fun fact.

Boney M was an earlier version of Milli Vanilli. Same guy producing the music, having it performed by himself and others in a studio, and hiring front people to lip sync.

I think that certain genres of music befit certain types of lyrics. Folks have tried putting Christian lyrics to genres of music that I feel are unfit for Christian lyrics - just my opinion. I mean, just imagine if someone paired Christian lyrics with this melody:

I found what you said riveting.
