(Learned that one from a friend who had a rock plant on a river and would use a crane to cast a bucket that he’d then reel back in to gather rock from the river. Never knew what a dragline was prior to that.)

Kahuna wrench

Big assed super wide jaw heavy sucker used on CAT bulldozers and other such machinery.

Also known to be carried tucked into a bouy belt worn around the waist for causing mayhem and bodily injury. Smile

Certifiable member of the gun toting, septuagenarian, bucket list workin', crazed retiree, bald is beautiful club!

BOB and the Gender Benders

Dang, that is seriously old school, but still high tech. I’ve got a lot more of the archaic db25 stuff than db9 laying around. Back in the day, I just rolled what I needed from docs and pulling & moving pins in the connector shells. Fun times...

Nowadays, on the ranch the most common gender benders are three inch camlock fittings. Either two males back to back or two females back to back. Term originated right where you described, just got co-opted...

Yours has other even more impressive uses though...

Just don't buck phases And you'll be OK.

In the same vein: The Mark I Eyeball as a measuring device "Looks close enough."

Eyes are also a torque indicator: Run it down snug and then reef on it til yer eyeballs pooch out a little.

Reminded me of the service rep from Kuhn Machinery, from France, describing to my Uncles employees how to properly torque the bolts on a disc mower frame.

His instructions... "Two 15/16s".
What?... he explained further... Two 15/16 wrenches hooked together and tightened as tight as you can.

Endeavor to persevere.

I thought that was the flexible spout that goes on portable gas cans and such.

That said, I'll offer the West Virginia socket set -- an adjustable wrench. Big Grin
