As a soldier in the British Army for many years, I'd seen my share of victims of terrorist bombs on Northern Ireland, but I recall that a guy who fell 'only' about 150 feet from a tower crane here in mainland was so incredibly messed up by the impact with a dump truck that he looked like he'd been in an explosion.

What this French guy looked like after SCoM [sudden cessation of motion] after falling 68 floors must be like those poor souls who jumped from the two towers back on the awful day.

My thoughts got out to the clean-up crew.

The station where I was a volunteer paramedic had a group of 33 story high rise condos in our first due area.

I only had one jumper, a woman who suicides off a 33 story balcony of a dude she met a hour earlier in a bar. Amazingly, her body wasn't as horrifically disfigured as one might expect, but it was no doubt a closed casket funeral.

Her paramour, however, was as close to broken as anyone I'd seen who had a sudden unexpected death occur basically next to them.
