I have a 2017 Titan XD Pro4X gas. Purchased late october 2017. I have 37k miles on it. It has been 100% reliable. No visits for warranty issues. 6.5' bed in a full crew cab, ability to tow 10,000lbs, 5yr, 100000 bumper to bumper warranty, integrated brake controller, locking rear diff, and an excellent price. My final decision came down to the Titan Xd and a GMC Sierra 1500. My XD listed for 52k and I paid about 37k. If I recall, the best i could get the GMC for was about 43k. I can say 100% that i would be more comfortable hooking my XD up to a 10000lb trailer than the GMC or my friends 2018 F150. I realize the "ratings" for the Ford and GmC exceed the XD by a few hundred pounds. Those of you who have towed enough know that how a truck feels under load may be more telling than what the books say. I plan on driving the wheels off this truck. Feel free to ask me any questions you have. Also, the XD drives like a truck, not a truck that has been softened up to drive like a mini van.

The Titans and Armadas had brake issues for years. Nissan did nothing about it. That alone would keep me away from owning a Nissan. I'd recommend a tundra. The resell is amazing. You can actually get a 2 yr /12k mile lease on a crew cab 4x4 tundra for just over $200 a month. Check out leasehackr.

Oh stewardess, I speak jive. |
I have a 2000 model Toyota with 300k miles that's going strong, and that's not a rare occurrence... It has required almost nothing but the most very basic maintenance throughout. Still on original motor, tranny, and every major part. And it's my beater 4x4 that isn't babied at all. How many Nissan trucks can say that? Me, I wouldn't buy anything but a Toyota or a Ford. ymmv
