Came her to post same. At least OPs horse rigs can maintain the speed limit. And I will kindly disagree with you on the caliber of occupants you will find in most buggies. My experience finds them to be very much clannish and look down on those not of their order. Not so much a fan of them myself. A Perpetual Disappointment...

Prepared for the Worst, Providing the Best |
My parents live in rural Ohio and the Amish out there do tend to be a little more closed off and reserved. Out here in Indiana, though, they're a lot more enlightened. I think they've figured out that they can leverage us English for our money, lol. We do a lot of shopping at their bulk food stores, get plants at their nurseries and greenhouses, and they are some of the best builders around. A lot of them fish the lakes in our county, too....they get some local farm kid to tow their boat to the lake with his truck, and they make a day of it, usually the whole family. I've talked fishing with many an amishman at the boat ramp over the years, and my personal interactions with them have always been positive. My only complaints are the road congestion and the huge teenage rumspringa drinking parties that we have to deal with at work...but those sorts of things aren't exclusive to Amish kids by any means.

Hmmm, I don't use Safari any more, prefer Vivaldi. But I just opened Safari, and first thing cleared the browser cache. Then I opened the thread and the pics show just fine. There must be a setting in Safari interfering, or perhaps an ad blocker? When in doubt, mumble
