Welcome to the club. I have a 2016. ________________________________________ -- Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. TTIWWOP Congrats on the new ride, I'd love to drive one but the 36" inseam is a limiting factor.... ________________________________________________ "You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. That's my problem, too. I have not found an intermediate size truck that gives me enough leg length room. Tacoma, Ranger, Canyon / Colorado, they're all too short from driver seat to pedals. I really don't need a full-size pickup, other than the ability to sit in it and drive it safely. הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים

Not so much fun fitting a sheet of drywall in the back, and the tow package will set you back a bit.

I like to looks of the Tacoma but the bed is to small to be useful in my opinion. I have a 2010 Tundra that is holding up well with just under 100000 miles. Im waiting to see the redesigned 2022 Tundra and hoping it gets better fuel economy over the current V8.

Bump. My Tundra is in good shape but I’m looking at Tacoma’s as I don’t need a full size anymore. The 2022 Tundra looks good but there will be a wait and I’d like a little time for them to get out and any flaws fixed. Do not send me to a heaven where there are no dogs. Thanks for the compliments everyone, I haven’t had much of a chance to log in to sigforum lately. I’ll try to upload some pics in the next couple of days, it’s just a stock SR5 double cab, short bed, white, with the dark grey wheels. I also did get an account on the TacomaWorld forums, thanks for the recommendation!

I’m 6’5, with a 32/34 inseam, and it’s pretty comfortable for me, a bit a challenge to get out, but not terrible.

I paid MSRP, plus tax and license. From the research I’ve done, I did well, given the current market. I found a truck exactly like mine at another dealership, but it had $600 more in options, paint protection film, and some other small nonsense, they had it marked up $6k over MSRP. My dad lives in the Sacramento area, and he said the dealerships there marked them up $9k to $14k over MSRP.

I just rebuilt the front brakes again and refreshed the drums too on my 80k mile '09, so all four corners this time. My advice, stick with oem parts, don't bang off the drums till you hit 100k. Mine were at 50%. Doh! Its all good I just could have saved some time and struggle. Drums are um, fun.
