My first car was a 1966 Shelby Gt-350.
I bought it used in 1969 from a Shelby American dealer ( Jim Aikey Ford). I paid $2300 for it.
My payments were $89 per month for 2 years.
I was a senior in HS. I delivered pizza in it for a couple years to pay it off.

1985 Chevrolet Camaro Berlinetta.

OK armored, you make my first car look like a pile of junk. If I had to hazard a guess I would be thinking that was a pretty fun ride

1967 Pontiac Bonneville 400 CI with TH400 trans. A huge car!

Second one was a little more fun 1968 Camaro 327 with powerglide.

A 1972 Buick Skylark that had a 350 ci V8 in a beautiful shade of green-pea puke puree that was gifted to me by my beloved and wonderful grandparents in ‘78 or ‘79 when I was 17 or 18 years old.

It was reliable car and a little ripper as well.

I think my first ‘upgrade’ to it was to install the legendary Pioneer cassette tape deck and i famous Jensen speakers.

A fun time was had by all that cruised around with me back in the day and we somehow miraculously managed to survive all of the Sex, Drugs and Rock’n Roll witnessed by that Buick.

A one year old Black over Black 1977 Z28 Camero with a 4-speed. I put a Hurst shifter in it. Had to cash in an insurance policy to buy it as I just got out of college and needed a car to get to work.

My first car was a 1954 Mercury 2 door hardtop. I got her the year I graduated in 1965. I paid $300. Here is a photo of what she looked like. Not my car but an identical pic off the internet.

No column shifting, had push buttons for drive, reverse, etc.

grandparents had that same year and color Ford Custom 500, only a 4 door, with Sears AC in it, 302 with a cold light,
start it, did not matter if it was Jan or July,
you let it idle until the cold light went off and drive off,

if you did not, it would stall every time,

I hated that car. Got it in 1986.

A 1975 Pontiac Firebird, that I bought in about 1987 or 1988. I think I payed about $2,000.00 for it, which was a lot of money for a young PFC.

1976 Malibu Classic w/wire hubcaps, ac delco am/fm (one rear speaker) and playboy air fresheners. It died one day blowing a head gasket while almost home. Coasted into the driveway as if it was thanking me in the end.

1967 pale yellow Cougar. Black Interior. Sure wish I still had it. My dad was a big car guy and could hardly wait to buy another cool car when I was still 15. My cousin had one too and hers was an XR-7 and royal blue.

1974 Brown Ford Gran Torino.

My first was a $75 1950 Ford 2dr sedan. Immediately introduced by buddy Mike, to his girlfriend's twin sister. They both needed a ride to school....

Odd combination of just a little too much throttle on neighborhood speed bump into ice/snow patch then/sudden impact into parked truck. Minor repairs; cost $30 for straight fender & about a week learning how to bolt it on. Eventually replaced with a pristine $300 1953 Sedan deVille.

Hey, mine was a '68 XR-7. It had the 302. It was my uncle's, which he sold to my dad, which I learned to drive on. Did yours have sequential taillights that worked also?

'71 Chevelle Malibu w/350. It was brown with a black vinyl roof. I de-chromed it and changed the rims. It was similar to this image off of the net. I got it at 16 from my uncle, a traveling salesman, who put over 250k on it before I got it in '79. I added dual exhaust, headers, and a Holly 750. It was only a 14 second car. When the kid got it from me, he had the cam removed to have the Chevy 327 350 cam installed, which I gave him, and he discovered some of the lobes of the original were worn down to nothing! Smoked like crazy when nailed.
