But, there are inherent variations within a process, and there are inherent differences between parallel processes. Each eye is different and if our lenses don’t give you the best results, it is worth trying other brands before giving up on contacts.

Tangent.
I switched to dailies at the suggestion of my eye doc. A fresh pair every day is nice, but a bit of sticker shock at the cost of a 3 mo stock, compared to 30 day ext wear.

For those that may try the MF lenses: I've found that, for me, increasing the distance Rx and keeping the ADD the same results in the lenses being less effective.

With -3.75 / +1.25 my distance vision is not perfect but sufficient while the reading vision was sufficient.

With -4.00 / +1.25, my distance vision was more perfect but the reading vision was rendered effectively useless; might as well have not had any ADD.

Doc not recommending -4.00 / +1.50 (or stronger). I may try it but I'm thinking -3.75 is good enough. I'll probably go this route for 3-6 months and then maybe after fully acclimated and more familiar with any deficiencies, I'll try -4/1.5 if I feel so compelled.
