Sorry to see Loyola loose but you simply can't make that many unforced second half turnovers and expect to win.

It was pretty much a given that they would lose one of the last two. Although...after UMBC, who knows? Big Grin

They had a great run and have nothing to be ashamed of.

Kansas did not show up. You would think they would be ready to defend the three against UV.

My dad played basketball, baseball and tennis for Loyola of New Orleans in the late 40's. I was hoping Loyola could get the win tonight.

Not a big BB fan to begin with, I always enjoyed watching my original hometown team Syracuse play in tourneys. Also am partial to big underdogs. So with both the 'Cuse and Loyola out I've rather lost interest. Just being honest.

Villanova continues to be the class of the tournament. Before their win tonight they had the record for most wins by a program in a 4 year span, and having just added to it, i would expect they will again Monday night

Michigan will have to play damn near flawless basketball to beat them. And if NoVA shoots like they did tonight even s flawless game from
Michigan won’t be enough

It could happen. But I don’t think it will. Villanova has the talent, discipline and coaching

I want them to win it for sure. But for those Michigan players who stayed to watch Villanova destroy Kansas, it must have felt like Rocky 4 when Rocky sat ringside and watched Drago beat Creed to death.

So they start the championship game at 9:20 pm Monday. Why not at 3:00 am so absolutely nobody will watch it? Jackasses.

No interest in rooting for a small school (7k students vs 44k at Michigan) who plays fundamental basketball as a team without any one-and-done players?

Good point, but they were a 1 seed and no strangers to the Final Four

You are right about that, but they earn it. Not a lot of programs can constantly compete with one-and-done schools with four year players. It's basically Gonzaga and Nova.

Nova is showing that they deserve it "again"

And that Michigan didn't deserve to be there.
