No if I fished I wouldn't use food to bait them, I'd use lures to trick them.

The great white hunter neighbor that baits the critters with scraps also baits bear by hanging a chunk of meat from a tree right out from his cameras and shooting shack.

If a hunter puts out fake corn instead of real corn, is that better?
