Absolutely!! I have tool specific boxes close to what ever they are

I have a “house stuff tool box” for general stuff

Guess which one never has the correct needed tool in it when needed and the wife is always asking for something

(I have my own house tool box, hidden)

I have a dedicated tool box of JUST 10mm sockets. I'm just Lucky I haven't lost that toolbox at the same rate I misplace 10mm sockets. I should tape a few to the fridge just in case.

Seriously this is an enlightening thread. I've gone back and forth on this practice, but these days less and less.

I have a general set of tools for household and automotive work. I have a small secket set and a few screwdrivers in my truck, a dedicated set of tools in my bike, and multiple sets of gun specific tool sets for rifle and pistol bags.

Who doesn’t?
The motorcycle kit is different from the car kit is different from the truck kit is different from the tractor kit is different from the trailer kit is different from the gun kit is different from the archery kit is different from the house kit.

The big tool box is in the shed the bigger toolbox is in the shop.
And my leatherman is nearly always on my belt.
