out of Houston TX.
Not looking for optics or ammo but they have a camping gear piece I might want. Good price and free shipping.

Anyone use. Go or no go. Thanks.

Run away from those guys

There are also threads on other forums about problems people have had with that outfit.

I have a vague recollection of a thread here some years ago about those people. Think it was posted in the Billy Bob’s Bang Bang Boutique section.

I'm from H-town and never heard of them.
Website really sucks. Amateurish. No way of sorting anything into brands or categories. Every fucking thing is lumped together. And prices? Ridiculously high. And, you have no way of knowing what's in stock. Roll Eyes

And, based on the reviews posted by arfmel above, it's a good thing they hide online. Because if they actually had a physical store, somebody probably would have done some bad things to them. Roll Eyes

OTOH, this outfit will treat you right. Best customer service. Possibly your item may be available through them?

Just out of curiosity, I got on their website and clicked on About Us, then Terms of Service.

When the Terms of Service page has 20 sections full of legal gibberish, it's time to RUN, FORREST! RUN!

I have to disagree. There was a firestorm against Backcountry last year when it came out they tried to trademark the name “Backcountry”. They bullied and sued several small companies to force them into changing their name.

This article tells the story: https://www.outsideonline.com/...t-backlash-explained
