2023 dashcam recommendations?
I did a search and didn't find a thread recommending dash cams for some time.

What's best?

What are the details no one tells you about them?

One tip I learned a few years ago greatly improved Sigforum's search. Use the advanced search feature and order by date. I've made a few screen captures.

As you can see doing an ordinary search (aka ordered by relevance), makes it look like there hasn't been a dash cam thread since December 2018. However, changing to advanced search sorted by date it shows a December 2022 thread with last post in Jan 2023.

There is a site under the title of Vortex Radar that reviews radar detectors and dash cams. He gives good advice and reasoning as to how he arrives at his conclusions. Seems to be the go to place for car heads that want electronics advice.
