Glad to see your ok. Idiots like this need to be run off the road themselves. I had something similar happen to me the other day and thought for sure the idiot was gonna hit me and she wasn't even paying attention when I laid on my horn. She kept on going like it was no big deal. | |||

If you can see a possible problem arising and have the time to check mirrors and move over a lane, that's good, but most times these happen in a half a second. Swerve over a lane and hit someone else, it's your fault and the jackass who caused it drives on down the road laughing his ass off. Mr. Fischtown... I'm retired four years and I'll bet I can still recite the five steps of the Smith system by heart! Year after year drumming it into your head, it WORKS! Last thirty five years, no accidents, no citations. You must have a lot of patience. | |||

No doubt the car merging in front of trailer guy and merging along with him was going 50mph. This is a technique that is actually taught in driving schools in Florida: go 50mph on the on ramp and hammer the gas when you get to the dashed lines of the merge point. Two of my kids so far were taught this in drivers ed and by Alt’s Driving School. That’s no excuse of course trailer guy beating feet for the left lane. | |||

I had a similar experience going south on 131 in Grand Rapids, MI. A guy cut across four lanes to get to the exit. I was in the right lane and didn't realize till the last second that he was towing a trailer. Swerving and braking saved me and my truck. He exited like nothing happened. I assume he was drunk. ... stirred anti-clockwise. | |||

I see you do the standard defensive yield-move-over-for-merging traffic because like around here, these ASSHOLES do not yield and will just barrel down an on-ramp right into the traffic on the roadway. | |||
