Due to recent law changes (enacted by whom I wonder? Hmmm...) New York State employees are getting three paid hours off work today so they can vote.

NY State employees who seem to overwhelmingly vote Democrat, or how their unions tell them to (Democrat). Well ain't that nice. I"m sure that's merely a coincidence huh?

Swell.

I know that something like this was always part of the NY government workers union contracts.

It's New York.....We know how they vote . How much difference can it make? It's a liberal wasteland.

A big difference.

Unfortunately we have too many people here with your attitude that don't bother.

preparing to fail.

A quick search will show that a number of states require employers to provide employees paid time off to vote. It is not just a New York union thing.

I have a summer job at Ausable Chasm. NY State sent out a mailing to the 3 people that are still working informing them of this law.

With the polls being open from 6 am -9pm I find it hard to believe people cant vote on their own time.
