I sent a link to this thread to Big bore shooter’s phone. Here is the reply:

This is his daughter, (not the one in the army). Thank you for sending the thread. I have read all your messages to him and will continue to do so. Please feel free to continue sending. Thank you for all of the prayers and support. It means the world to us all. He’s not really conscious, but he did stir when I read the messages. I think he heard them.

Words fail me. My mother in law was in the same situation exactly 3 years ago today. As I read this thread, the feelings come rushing back, my eyes water, and my heart aches for BigBore's family. Even though I have never met any of you, know that I am thinking of you.
