Rumors of my death
are greatly exaggerated

I got invited along by some clients we took down to Cabo. I never dreamed I’d ever get to catch a fish like this or spend the day out on a 65 foot boat fishing. I wish I had a better picture, but this is the only one they have shared with me so far. They said he weighed roughly 120 lbs. Biggest thing I’ve ever battled. He ended up being too hurt from the way he was hooked, so they cleaned him and they took the meat to share. Wifey said no replicas for the wall. Too many dead critters up there now..dang it.

An amazing day I’ll never forget. We all got hit buy a big wave and got soaked while I was trying to land him too. Took all day to dry out after that.

Looks like a fun time! Took my family fishing when we were in Alaska just a week or two ago and they loved it, even my daughter who was adamant that the wasn't going to like it. As long as they are catching fish, they like it.

Man, you look tired in that pic.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Awesome. Sorry to hear he could not be released but sometimes that happens.
